Node Appearance - Node Tags

The Node Appearance - Node Tags settings controls the icon / text tags that can be shown in the upper right corner of nodes.

Node Type

 
This dropdown shows which node type the rest of the settings below apply to.
  • Selecting a node in the graph or the tables while the setting dialog is visible will change this dropdown to show the selected node type.

Show Text/Icon

 
There are 3 options for what the node tag can show:
 
  • Text: Show the text value associated with the text attribute.
  • Icon: Show the image icon chosen from the Icon dropdown.
  • None: Don't show node a tag for this node type.

Text Attribute

 
The Text Attribute determines the value that will be displayed on the node's text tag.

Back Color /

Text Color

 
Back color: The background color of a text tag.
Text color: The color of the text on a text tag.

Choose Icon

5. Choose Icon
The Icon dropdown controls the node tag icon displayed when the "icon" radio button is selected for the show setting.
 
  • The list of available icon images can be found in the /resources/icons/ sub-directory from where Navigator is installed.  Adding images to this directory and restarting the application will show added images as icon options.
  • The node tag image can be displayed in the body of the node when the Image Attribute setting is set to Node Tag Icon.
