Open Wizard

 
Brings up the Loading Wizard. 
  • Choose this option for the greatest flexibility in opening a file, or to configure a connection to a Database.
  • If data has not yet been loaded, this will display the Loading Wizard Select File page.
  • If data has already been loaded, this will display the Loading Wizard Menu page, allowing you to change the existing configuration.
  • This option is only displayed for Navigator Desktop, not Navigator Web.

Open File

 
A quick option for opening a file.
  • If a data file such as an excel .xls file is selected, this will bring up the Loading Wizard Select File page with the chosen file and file type (excel) filled in.
  • If a Project file with the .tgnp extension is selected this file will be loaded right away without showing the Loading Wizard.
  • This option is only displayed for Navigator Desktop, not Navigator Web.

Add Search Entity

 
When a Navigator Db Api or Mcsv project is loaded, this menu shows the Add Search Entity dialog that allows loading more data for a specified entity type / id. 
  • In essence this provides a way to quickly search a database to load more data.
  • The Add Search Entity dialog does something similar to double clicking a node.

Add File

 
Loads additional data from a new file. 
  • This menu option only becomes enabled after an initial file is loaded.
  • Additional files that are loaded must conform to the Project file for the initial loaded file.

Save Project

 
Save the current settings, graph layout, etc in the Project file.

Save Project As

 
Same as the Save Project menu, but this option lets you specify a new name for the Project file.

Exit

 
Exit the application.
